Important!
The ULOS-UT-OUT event follows the principles of safer space in all activities. Everyone attending the event are expected to commit to the principles for safer place and hate speech-free discussions.

During the event, photos and videos will be taken for documentation for the purposes of information and marketing. If you do not wish to appear in photos, please inform the photographer or contact a member of the organizing team.

The most important things to do right now:
- Get to know the principles for safer place and photography-related matters
- Check the event app out to stay on schedule and on track during the event.
- Check out or make your selection of program in the app.
- Make sure that your registration, your accommodation and meal arrangements are in order.
Arrival and registration
- The disk for registration and storage for baggage is located at Sammon koulu (school)
Accommodation:
- Make sure your arrangements for food and accommodation are in order
Food:
- Always take a cup/hiking mug, a lunch box and cutlery with you.
- Lunch and afternoon coffee are included in the event participation fee. A vegetarian meal is served. Special diets must be notified in advance!
Equipment:
The program of the event is organized outside regardless of the weather. In addition to your personal equipment, remember to bring:
- A cup, a plate and cutlery and a lunchbox
- At will, a thermal mug or small thermos + a hiking mug or a cup
- A water bottle
- Your name tag and something to attach it with (or make one at the event)
- A sitting pad
- Weather-appropriate clothing and proper shoes (e.g. sunglasses and a sunhat, rain gear, insect repellent)
- A phone (a power bank and headphones may also come in handy!)
- A swimsuit and a towel
- For those camping in nature: all necessary overnight equipment
- Any materials needed for your workshops (check the workshop descriptions for details)
The event app
The most important channel of information for all participants both before and during the event is the ULOS-app. You will find the latest updates in the app, so we recommend downloading and exploring it ahead of the event.
The ULOS-app is a simple and user-friendly application, developed for this event in particular. The app functions in both computer and mobile web browsers, best with Google Chrome (Firefox as well). When you have logged in, the web browser will take you automatically to the entry page, to the ”lobby” of the event. In the lobby, you can find links to the participant form and the program. You do not have to install the app: it can be used directly in your browser. When you are registered, you will find the app here (link will come later) . If you have difficulties logging in to the app, please contact info@ulosutout.fi. Once you are logged in, you can use the app to ask for advice or request help from the organizers or the app support team.
Instructions to install the app:
- Open the Chrome (or Firefox) browser on your phone and go to the address https://ulos.cometasolutions.fi/ulos/
- ANDROID: Install the app by clicking “Install app” in the menu at the top right corner, or the “Add to Home Screen” text box at the bottom.
- IPHONE: Install the app by clicking the symbol at the top right corner and scroll down until you find ”Add to Home Screen”
Instruktioner för att använda appen:
To make your selections of program, start from the Program-page. Click ”Register” and when it says ”Registered”, you are involved in the program. You can also mark other programs with a star. You can choose one workshop or one round table discussion from each time slot. Please remove any overlapping selections!
In addition to workshops and round tables, you can now also register for meal seatings. Registration helps to stagger meal times. You can also register for meals closer to the event.
1) From the Lobby, you can find announcements and event information, and it is a good place to start if looking for something. Within the ”Event information”, there is an ”Ask for help”-button to get in contact with organizers. To change the language, click the person at the top right corner and choose a different language.
2) Trade shows and meeting place can be found at the bottom of the Lobby-site. Just scroll down! There will be online-participants, see you at virtual fire and virtual trade shows.
3) On every program, there is a Mood-site – a space to share your feelings, photos, and thoughts about the event!
4) Check out your selection of program in the app. If you have registered for several overlapping sessions just in case, please remove your extra selections. If you are on the ”waiting list, selects something else instead.
Many of the ULOS-UT-OUT -event’s online lectures, virtual trade shows and Mood-discussions are open already before the event. Take your headphones, listen to the lectures or vibe otherwise during the trip! Share your vibes in the app or in social media! The hashtag is #uuo2026
